IRVING, Texas & FARNBOROUGH, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fluor
Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that having successfully
completed the development phase of the first phase of the Seagreen
Offshore Wind Farm, it has sold its 50 percent stake to SSE Renewables,
a division of Scottish energy company SSE.
Fluor was an equal owner with SSE Renewables of Seagreen Wind Energy
Limited, which holds exclusive rights to develop the offshore wind
development zone located about 16 miles off the Angus coast of Scotland.
Seagreen has the potential to generate 2.8 gigawatts of energy.
A portion of the proceeds of this sale was assumed in the original
earnings-per-share guidance that Fluor issued on Aug. 2, 2018.
