Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that the company was named

2014 World’s Most Admired Companies list. For the third year in a row,
Fluor earned the top designation among its peers in the engineering and

“This accomplishment is a testament to our employees everywhere who work
to deliver complex projects in remote locations day-in and day-out on
six continents around the globe,” said David Seaton, Fluor Corporation’s
chairman and chief executive officer. “As a leader in the global
engineering and construction industry, we strive to deliver
cost-efficient solutions to our clients and profitable growth to our
shareholders. It is a special honor for our company and our employees to
receive this great recognition for the third consecutive year.”
FORTUNE’s Most Admired Companies list is considered a definitive report
card on corporate reputations. This year marks the 31st year
of FORTUNE’s list of companies ranked by reputation. FORTUNE
collaborates with The Hay Group, a global management consulting firm, to
identify, select and rank the world’s most admired companies based on
the business practices, innovative spirit and social responsibility that
make companies chosen for the list highly regarded and successful. The
rankings are compiled by querying executives, directors and analysts to
measure corporate reputation and performance against nine key
attributes: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets,
social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness,
long-term investment, quality of products and services, and global
competitiveness.
