Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that Fluor-ManTech
Logistics Solutions, LLC (FMLS), a partnership with technical services
firm ManTech, was selected by the U.S. Army Sustainment Command to
participate on the U.S. Army’s Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise
(EAGLE) contract. The award is a Basic Ordering Agreement allowing FMLS
to compete for future task order opportunities on the EAGLE program,
which is the primary contract vehicle the Army uses to obtain logistics
services. The financial details of the award were not disclosed.
“The FMLS team is well-positioned to deliver maintenance, logistics and
supply services to support our military’s mission,” said Bruce Stanski,
president of Fluor’s Government Group. “Fluor looks forward to building
on our history of providing essential support services to the U.S. Army
Sustainment Command around the world.”
The EAGLE program enables contractors to provide maintenance operations,
supply operations and transportation services at multiple Army locations
across the United States. The EAGLE program has a potential value of
approximately $23 billion over a five-year period.
Fluor is currently providing military support services at U.S. military
forward operating bases in the northern region of Afghanistan under the
LOGCAP IV contract with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command. Earlier this
year, the company was awarded a new task order under the LOGCAP IV
program to deliver logistical support throughout Continental Africa.
