Fluor Announces Senior Management Changes

Seaton Appointed Senior Group President

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today the appointment of David T. Seaton to the position of Senior Group President. In this new capacity Seaton will oversee the company’s Energy & Chemicals, Power and Government Business Groups.

Seaton becomes one of two senior-level operations executives reporting to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Alan L. Boeckmann. Steven B. Dobbs, Senior Group President, continues in his role with oversight responsibility for the company’s Industrial & Infrastructure and Global Services Business Groups.

David E. Constable, most recently Group President of Power, becomes Group President of Project Operations, a newly created, multi-functional entity that will serve the company’s core business groups and include IT; procurement; health, safety & environmental; security; project execution services; construction; and project risk management. Constable will report to Alan Boeckmann, who noted that the Project Operations Group was formed to better leverage key resources that are critical to the execution of the company’s many challenging and complex projects worldwide.

In addition, the company announced other senior-level appointments. Succeeding Constable in leading the power business is David R. Dunning who previously served the Power Group as its lead sales executive. Succeeding Seaton as Group President of Energy & Chemicals will be P.W.B. “Peter” Oosterveer. Currently, Oosterveer leads the company’s chemicals business operations.

In announcing the executive changes, Boeckmann said, “With our significant backlog and challenging markets, it’s appropriate to take steps to better focus on the global execution of our many projects.” In addition, he said, “it is important to do all we can to further position the company to take maximum advantage of opportunities to strengthen our overall competitive position.”
