Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) today announced that Paul Longsworth,
former deputy administrator for defense nuclear nonproliferation at the
National Nuclear Security Administration within the U.S. Department of
Energy, has joined Fluor Government Group as executive director of
environmental/nuclear business development.

Fluor's global efforts in the nuclear decommissioning and new build
markets."
Working in Fluor's Hammersmith, United Kingdom, office, Longsworth will
focus on environmental and nuclear business development in the UK and
continental Europe.
For the past two years, Longsworth's principal responsibility at the
NNSA was preventing the spread of materials, technology and expertise
relating to weapons of mass destruction and the elimination of
inventories of surplus fissile material.
Prior to his tenure as deputy administrator, Longsworth served as senior
policy advisor to the Secretary of Energy for national security. He also
served as a professional staff member on the Senate Armed Services
Committee and the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, the
Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Department of
Energy's Office of Science and Technology, and the Advanced Energy and
Environmental Systems Division of BDM International Corporation and in
private industry.
