construction of two new gas-fired power plants in the western United
States is not expected to have a material impact on its 2002 financial
results and reconfirmed its forecast of $2.10 per share for the year.
Duke is expected to make a final decision on the schedule of the
projects in the next few weeks.
Duke/Fluor Daniel, a joint venture between the two parent companies,
performs engineering, procurement and construction services for these
facilities.
